Fire Manager / Competent Person Course
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (RRFSO) came into force on the 1st October 2006. This legislation replaced the previous fire legislation and now puts the onus on the owners of businesses and business premises.
This order requires the Responsible or Competent person ensures they have a suitable and sufficient fire risk assessment in place and that their fire protection arrangements meet the requirement of the new order.
This course is designed to give delegates the skills and confidence to be able to carry out their duties of the competent person as laid down in the RRFSO. The course is run over two days and covers the following subjects:
